Oregonian nostalgia

It's been almost 2 months now that I'm back from the beautiful Portland. It's a bit stupid but I keep readind the Willamette Week and The Portland Mercury online.. I remember muffins eaten at Random Order and at Ladybug. The large streets and similar houses. Dead leaves on the floor and squirrels running on electric cables. The country and the forest.

Recently I've found Foster's blog, A Restless Transplant.
I've got the impression that there's not a lot of men blogging. Like on Brian Ferry's one, I love his sensibility and his eyes on the details of the daily life.
And I was so happy (nostalgic?!), finding these beautiful pictures taken in Columbia River Gorge.

Question of society

Get involved # I Heard Nelson

I Heard Nelson. Participons à l'élaboration de ce futur album, avec tout plein de goodies en échange.
Mais les mieux placés pour en parler, ce sont eux!

End of the week

Not a "five senses friday" post like Abby used to do, but some random things which made my week.

I currently work on cds packaging. I had a lunch with a friend to brainstorm our ideas. We experimented this funny and clever one, on which purple ink decides itself to create your own artwork.

PAPPELTALKS from vizage on Vimeo.

I also received my DVD magazine Rafskinna, including works by Animal Collective, Antony and the Johnsons, Olöf Arnalds and other artists from icelandic scene. I've not watched it yet but its packaging, simple and effective, inspired us a lot.

Stay tuned with videos. Lou Doillon is still the muse in the lovely new campaign for spring/summer collection 2010 by Vanessa Bruno and she reminds me of Patti Smith. Gonzales is playing one of my favorite songs.
You can watch it here.

Tonight I have a birthday party. Even if it's a Christmas recipe, I want to try to make these almond biscuits!

Oh and I can't stop listening acoustic songs by Jonsi . His solo album is due out on march or april. But the delicate acoustic version is really beautiful.
You can listen to it here.

Bon week end!

Lovely yummy!

Yesterday morning, when I've seen this picture (the 1st one with the seaweed rabbit) on Tommy's blog, I decided to post about lovely surprises "found in food".
Few minutes ago, my friend Agate sent me this picture of "oh deer" biscuits. How did she know?!!
Anyway. Tommy will blog again about this little funny seaweed animals. I'm looking forward to see that!
