museum babushkas
something that i've noticed in museums in st peterburg was the elderly women working as guards.
they were sitted on their chair, or they were following us, without saying anything - which was a bit weird first, before i get used to it.
this photographic project by Andy Freeberg is a lovely ode to these women i think :)

things
"when things go black i got you"
i've been a longtime fan of amen dunes
he just put out a new record, called freedom
and it's a real masterpiece
i've been listening to it over and over these past few months
and i can't get tired of it.
i've got many favorites on the record,
•
"one of the strangest things in life is to live in a body you have spent most of your life hating"
writer roxane gay is running an on-going online magazine
exploring our relationships with our bodies
•
a great conversation with marlee grace on ideal futures podcast
with a pretty inspiring / interesting part about transitions in life.

there's a new rosemarie roberson exhibition at ofr. -- running til mid-april
she is probably one of my contemporary artists
i never get tired of her work
from shapes to colors, i find it absolutely calming.
