days are dogs

tomorrow is the last day of 'days are dogs',
camille henrot's carte blanche at palais de tokyo.
the exhibition questions the relations of authority and concept shaping our lives;
and is organized around the days of week,
one of the most common structure of our society.

henrot's ikebana (sunday's installation)
and dried plants on the pages of an auction catalogue (friday) were by far my favorite installations.
even if i was not convinced by the whole exhibition, it was a good mental excercice.

-- i didn't know that david horvitz was part of the carte blanche, and i was quite happy to see 'the distance of a day'.
